Picture Post March 1944

Magazine. First published in the UK in March 1944 by "Hulton Press Ltd".
Printed by "The Sun Engraving Company". Written by various journalists.
This is a weekly magazine which contains numerous articles concerning life during WW2.
There are several pieces on different aspects of the war but the one which is of
particular interest concerns the Parachute Regiment. There is an article by
Macdonald Hastings on the training of a Paratrooper and he also makes a jump with them.
Most of the men pictured in the article are from the 10th Battalion, which would be
almost completely destroyed in the streets of Oosterbeek just six months later.
